John 7:37-39

"Rivers of Living Water"

Just as water satisfies thirst and enriches the soil for bountiful fruitfulness so the Spirit of God satisfies the inner person and enables us to bear fruit for God's Glory. Oh how desperate our dry and thirsty land/culture/age/society is for the abundant waters of Christ that washes, cleanses, satisfies and nourishes. Everything humanity needs God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit along with His Word provides. The age old question is will you, will we, will they draw from the wells of salvation that He supplies?

Maybe you didn't need revival when I began this series a few weeks ago.

Maybe you have been revived since I began this series a few weeks ago.

Maybe you still find yourself in need of revival because you still find yourself in place of ho-hum, apathy, lethargy and lukewarmness,

I certainly get it.

Life is Good!!!!

Life is filled with pleasures that easily entertain us. They keep us happy and thus our spiritual journey becomes rather routine. It usually becomes secondary and just okay and fine. We don't look for God because subconsciously we are not sure we need Him, at least right now.

Life is Hard!!!!

Life is filled with hardships that easily ensnare us. They keep us sad and thus our spiritual journey becomes rather monotonous. It usually becomes about making our situation better. We are looking for answers rather than looking for God's presence. We want help instead of just wanting Him.

To me, revival is about thanking God for the good and the bad. It is about coming to a place of being willing to make everything in life about Him. It is about killing selfishness and dying to self. It is about our first love being our first love once again. If you have Jesus you have everything. You can take what comes when it all belongs to Him. The good and bad will always be present with us but with His presence He smooths everything out.
