“The Lord turned and looked straight at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word the Lord had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows today, you will disown me three times.” (Luke 22:61)

Prayer~

Jesus, I don’t ever want to disown You. I don’t want to ignore Your presence in my life and in the world around me. Keep me strong, Jesus, and brave to speak Your name. Amen.

Meeting Jesus ~

We worship for God, for each other and, yes, for ourselves. “Why Worship?” series continues this Sunday as we celebrate the ways God meets us personally in worship. With an extended time of prayer and special music from Lexi Klempan.

Dean Rees joyfully announces the First Church Concert Series. You’ll enjoy music from friends and guests from the community and beyond. On the first Sunday of every month at 4 p.m.

October 5 A variety show of local musicians

November 2 A praise concert featuring members of our band and others

December 7 A holiday selection from Dean Rees himself on piano and organ.

Support the 2026 Youth Mission Trip to Mescalero, NM, by enjoying a tasty Tater Tot Bar while enjoying photos from the church families' recent travels around the state and the world. A Tater Tot Bar is the same as Baked Potato Bar, but with tater tots instead of a baked potato. You'll grab a bowl of tater tots and have your choice of toppings, with drinks and brownies for dessert.
