How does Jesus give me hope?

Isaiah 61:1-3

1) Through the power of the Holy Spirit we have “counsel” & “courage” (vs. 1)

- “Trust in His Word to guide you”. John 14:26

- “Trust that He will give you the boldness to keep following Him.” - 2 Timothy 1:7

2) Jesus has victory over sin! (vs. 1 – “bring good news”)

- “This brings healing.” - 1 Corinthians 15:56-57

- “This brings deliverance.” – Psalm 40:1-3

3) Jesus will set all things right! (vs. 2 – The year of the Lord’s favor)

- “Jesus will complete His redemption & His vengeance!” - Revelation 21:1-8

- “Jesus will show us that living for Him was worth it!” - Mark 10:29-30

4) Jesus will allow me to be a part of glorifying Him! (vs. 3 “he may be glorified”)

- “We will glorify Him!” - 2 Thessalonians 1:10-12

- “We will WANT to glorify Him for He is so good!” - Psalm 145:10-13
