The Great Exchange

Galatians 3:10-29

1. Bad News about Your Good Deeds (vs. 10)

Every man is cursed by trying to be "good enough" for God.

- Romans 3:23

2. The Good News: God was not counting on the Law to save you! (vs. 11-12)

The righteous shall live by faith.

- Romans 3:21-22

3. God made a Great Exchange at Calvary (vs. 13-14)

Jesus Took Our Sin so that We can have His LIfe.

- 2 Corinthians 5:21

4. The Spirit of God is a sign that we are made righteous! (vs. 14)

We can't be with God if we are unclean. The Spirit's presence says we get to be with God!

- Ephesians 1:13-14

5. When did God decide to make this Great Exchange? (vs. 15-18)

Jesus was always the plan to save you!

- Ephesians 1:3-10

6. God made a commitment to Himself! (vs. 19-20)

He will see your salvation all the way through!

- Genesis 15:1-17 / Philippians 1:6 / 2 Timothy 2:11-13

7. The Law works in partnership with the Gospel! (vs. 21-24)

The Law guides us to our need for Jesus Christ!

- Romans 3:20

8. Application # 1: Embrace Who You already are Church! (vs. 25-29)

You are a Sinner, saved by Grace, that you can be a Child of God!

- 1 Peter 2:9-10

9. Application # 2: To anyone holding on to your good works:

Repent from all your works and trust in Jesus today!

- Romans 10:9 & 13
