Opening thoughts: Discuss what some of your takeaways from XO Month have been. What stood out and how have you been challenged?

From week one:

-We talked about the future we want to have in relationships. What kind of future would you like to have in a relationship? Are you currently living in a way to pursue that outcome?

-Read Proverbs 7:6-13 & 21-23 together. Discuss the idea of selfishness vs selflessness in relationships. Why is selfishness toxic in relationship?

From week two:

-"Healthy relationships don't start with finding the right person, it starts with you becoming the right person." What do you think it takes to be truly ready for a relationship? What does it look like to become someone who would attract the right person?

-Read Philippians 2:3-7 together. What is the importance of humility, curiosity, and spiritual growth in relationships?

-Read Galatians 5:22-23 together. Does your life currently demonstrate these fruit of the Spirit? Also, does the person you are with or pursuing demonstrate these fruit of the Spirit?

From week three:

-Read Ephesians 4:31-5:2 and discuss what it looks like to become the right kind of person for relationships rather than just looking for the right person.

-How can we actively replace old, negative behaviors with Christ-like attitudes in our daily lives? How does this apply to relationships and why is it so important?
