𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘮𝘺 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘫𝘰𝘺, 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘭 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘭 𝘯𝘰𝘸. 𝗣𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗣𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗦 𝟭:𝟯–𝟱

Paul wrote this letter from prison, yet the first thing on his heart wasn’t his chains or struggles. It was gratitude for the Philippians, who faithfully joined him in the work of the gospel. Even in their own hardship (2 Corinthians 8:1–7), they gave generously and became his supporters in spreading the good news. Their partnership wasn’t just about giving. It was about sharing in the mission, suffering, and joy all for the sake of the gospel. Today, we will look at what it means to be true partners in advancing the gospel.

𝟭. 𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹.

𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘮𝘺 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘫𝘰𝘺, 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘭 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘭 𝘯𝘰𝘸. 𝗣𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗣𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗦 𝟭:𝟯–𝟱

Right from the very beginning, the Philippians shared Paul’s vision to see God’s kingdom advance. Even when they had little, they showed their faith by praying for Paul, encouraging him, financially supporting him, and helping him, so the gospel could keep going forward. Like them, God calls each of us to take part in His mission. We can use what we have—our prayers, time, and resources—to help share the good news of Christ. 𝟮. 𝗪𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝗻 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹.

𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦, 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘭𝘦𝘥𝘨𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘴𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 . . . 𝗣𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗣𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗦 𝟭:𝟵–𝟭𝟬

Just as Paul prayed for the Philippians, may we also grow in both love and wisdom so that through our partnership in the gospel, we can make choices that will bear the most fruit for God’s kingdom. Our giving should flow not only from love for God and others but also from wisdom and discernment, guiding our generosity with clear direction and purpose. 𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘮𝘺 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 . . . 𝘧𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘶𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘑𝘦𝘴𝘶𝘴 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵, 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘰𝘥. 𝗣𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗣𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗦 𝟭:𝟯, 𝟭𝟭

When we partner in the gospel—through our giving, prayers, or acts of service—God is praised and glorified. As our partnership bears lasting fruit in the lives of others, we are able to extend His grace at work in our lives. Therefore, more and more people get to experience Him, and give Him all the praise and glory He deserves. How have you seen God glorified through the ways you’ve served in His kingdom? • Praise God for the partnership we have in the gospel. Thank Him for the privilege of being co-laborers in His kingdom.

• Pray that your heart will always put God first as you bless others and trust Him to use it all for His glory.

• Ask God to give you wisdom, love, and discernment as you support His mission through prayer, encouragement, and generosity.
