As we mature in faith, one of the greatest pitfalls we face is seeking manifestations over intimacy with God. Almost nobody would choose this knowingly, but as we grow in the faith it becomes easier to rest on WHAT we know instead of WHO we know and are. As Jesus invites us into deeper and deeper places the battle between trust and control comes to the surface more and more.
