Scriptures to Combat Fear

2 Timothy 1:7 – “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

Declare: Fear has no authority in my life! God has given me power, love, and a sound mind!

Isaiah 41:10 – “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

Declare: I am never alone! God is upholding me with His strength!

Joshua 1:9 – “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Declare: I walk in boldness and courage because God is with me!

Scriptures to Evict Fear

Psalm 27:1 – “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?”

Declare: God is my stronghold! Fear has no hold on me!

Deuteronomy 31:6 – “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Declare: I will not be afraid because God is always with me!

Psalm 34:4 – “I sought the Lord, and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears.”

Declare: Every fear must leave! The Lord has delivered me!

Romans 8:15 – “For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, ‘Abba! Father!’”

Declare: I am a child of God! Fear has no place in my life!

Scriptures to Close the Door to Fear

Philippians 4:6-7 – “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Declare: I reject anxiety! God’s peace guards my heart and mind!

1 John 4:18 – “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”

Declare: God’s perfect love casts out all fear in my life!

Isaiah 26:3 – “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.”

Declare: My mind is fixed on God, and I live in perfect peace!

Psalm 56:3-4 – “When I am afraid, I put my trust in You. In God, whose word I praise—in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”

Declare: I trust in God, and I will not fear!

Daily Confession to Evict Fear

Speak this aloud every day:

"God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind! I reject every lie of the enemy and stand in faith! The Lord is my light, my salvation, and my stronghold—whom shall I fear? I walk in peace, courage, and confidence because my God is with me! Fear has NO place in my life, in Jesus' Name!"
