2.) What is the kindest or most unexpected act of hospitality someone has ever shown you? How did it make you feel?

Digging Deeper: Read Matthew 25:35-40

3.) In verses 35 and 36, Jesus lists very practical needs such as food, water, clothing, hospitality, care, and presence. Why do you think Jesus highlights such everyday acts rather than big, dramatic ones?

4.) When Jesus says, “I was hungry…I was a stranger…I was in prison,” what does that reveal about closely He identifies with people in need?

5.) Why do you think both the “righteous”, and the “unrighteous” in this passage are surprised? What does that ell us about the true nature of compassion and obedience?

6.) What does this passage teach us about what Jesus values compared to what we often thing God values?

7.) How does serving others become an act of serving Christ Himself? What does that practically mean for a believer?

8.) Is Jesus emphasizing the actions themselves, the heart behind them, or both? How can we tell?

9.) In what ways might we overlook “the least of these” today, not out of rejection, but simply from busyness, assumptions, or comfort?
