John 8:12

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”

SERMON MAIN POINTS

I. Jesus is the LIGHT of spiritual clarity and enlightenment.

(John 1:9)

II. Jesus is the LIGHT to hope for the righteous and judgment for the evil. (John 3:19-20)

III. Jesus is the LIGHT for guidance because the clarity of truth is in the believer. (John 11:10)

IV. Jesus is the LIGHT of truth and trust in a world of lies and deception. (John 12:36)

V. Why should you follow Jesus? Because Jesus is the LIGHT of truth and guidance in a dark world of lies and deception. (John 8:12)

You are never alone in the dark when you have Jesus as your Saviour.

We may not physically see Jesus in the flesh. However, we see Jesus in spirit continually. Everything we see as a believer has been enlightened by “the Light of the world,” Jesus Christ. In a world often characterized by darkness and confusion, we have hope. How do we know this? We know this because Jesus, the Son of God and the Master of truth, the Father of Light, testifies to it.
