Bunkhouse Beacon – The Holy Spirit within You

Romans 8:11 NKJV But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NKJV Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

You are not your own; you were bought at a price. The Holy Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you right now.

Your body is His temple.

This isn't just theological truth; it's practical power for daily living. You don't face this year alone, trying to muster up enough strength or willpower.

The same Spirit who guided Jesus, who comforted Mary, who empowered the early church, that Spirit lives in you.

He doesn't give you a spotlight for the whole path ahead, just a lamp for your next step (Psalm 119:105). That's enough.

Through His power, you can steward your gifts, talents, and abilities faithfully. You can glorify God in your body and spirit because they belong to Him.
