Revelation 8:8-13 NKJV — The Second, Third, and Fourth Trumpets

These verses describe a series of cataclysmic judgments that follow the sounding of the trumpets. A great mountain burning with fire is cast into the sea, turning portions of it to blood and destroying marine life and ships.

Then a blazing star called Wormwood falls from heaven, poisoning rivers and springs, bringing bitterness and death. Finally, a great darkness covers a third of the sun, moon, and stars, dimming the light on earth.

As these events unfold, an angel cries out with a warning of even greater woes to come, calling humanity to repentance before the final trumpet judgments.
