We are starting a new series today that I think is going to be really helpful.

First, I think this series will be helpful to any of you who want to go deeper in your relationship with God.

But even more, there were some of you and you made some commitments last week during Easter. I hope you are here or listening if you’re one of those people. Someone has probably already reached out to you. We have some resources we want to put in your hands if you trusted Jesus for the first time last week or you made a fresh commitment to follow Him and Crown Him Lord of your life.

First, what you did last week was kind of a private thing in many ways…but I want you to take a First Step, today’s message is all about firsts, and be water baptized next week!

I know you probably want to try out following Jesus for a little while to see if it sticks—can I tell you something I know—Water Baptism is one of the ways you make this commitment real and take the first step toward lasting life change!
