The word contentment gets used frequently in today’s culture, but its meaning often shifts depending on who’s discussing it. So, what exactly is contentment? How does it connect to faith and trust? Should Christians seek contentment outside ourselves, or is the popular self-love movement the answer? Understanding contentment rightly as Christians is incredibly counter cultural and helps us take pleasure in God as we treasure Christ above all.
