Our Church supports a children's care ministry in Uganda, operated by a local Ugandan woman named Pauline Awori...

The ministry is a non-profit organization called El-Shaddai Sanctuary and Refuge. It was established by Pauline.

The finances for Pauline's work are provided through the ministries of The Village Church at Bear Lake and Hope Bible Church in Montpelier, ID.

Regarding how the Village Church contributes, we commit $700/month to Pauline from general fund offerings received on Sunday mornings and online.

In addition to the $700, many individuals support her work by donating to the Village Church's "Uganda Kids" fund. 100% of donations made to the Uganda Kids fund go directly to El Shaddai Sanctuary and Refuge - Uganda.

On average, it costs $45 US dollars/month to financially care for one child. She provides shelter, food, clothing, and Bible training for the kids. For the school-aged kids, she sends them to a local boarding school. They stay with her when they are not in school.

Pauline is also in constant need of expansion funds for transportation, land, and buildings.
