Together We Thrive: 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting

As we step into a new year, we want to begin the way Scripture invites us to—together, anchored, and attentive to God’s voice.

Together We Thrive is a 21-day journey of prayer and fasting designed to help us realign our hearts, renew our strength, and refocus our lives around what matters most. This isn’t about perfection or performance—it’s about posture. About creating space for God to meet us, shape us, and lead us forward as individuals and as a church family.

From January 4–24, 2026, we’ll walk this journey together with daily devotionals and online prayer gatherings three times a week—short, meaningful moments to pause, pray, and remember that we are not walking alone. Whether you’re new to prayer and fasting or have practiced it for years, there is room for you here.

We’ll culminate this season with in-person prayer and worship, celebrating what God has done and breaking our fast together around the table—because transformation happens in God’s presence, and joy is multiplied in community.

A Call to Begin Well

Psalm 65:11 – “You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance.”

Our theme for 2026 is simple: Together We Thrive. We were never called just to survive—we were called to thrive.

From the very beginning, God’s design for His people has been life, fruitfulness, and flourishing. Scripture reminds us that God crowns our seasons with His goodness, that His plans are filled with hope, and that He strengthens His people when they feel weak. Thriving is not about having an easy life; it’s about living an aligned life—rooted in God’s presence, shaped by His purpose, and strengthened by His people.

And that’s where “together” matters.

We grow best in community. Faith deepens when it’s shared. Prayer carries more power when voices unite. In a world that often pulls us toward isolation, God invites us into spiritual family—where we carry one another, encourage one another, and move forward side by side. There is a unique blessing released when God’s people seek Him in unity. We thrive best “together”.

Prayer and fasting are not religious rituals; they are relational practices. They create space for God to speak, reset our priorities, and re-center our hearts. Fasting quiets the noise so prayer can sharpen our hearing. Prayer aligns our desires with Heaven’s purposes. Together, they posture us to receive what God is already eager to give.

In Psalm 51:10-11, David prayed this:

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me

away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.”

Let’s allow God to create a clean heart and steadfast spirit in us in 2026. These 21 days will give us an opportunity to launch 2026 with a heart for Heaven, a heart for Humans, and heart for the Harvest, and

a heart for God’s House.

These 21 days are an invitation—not to religion, but to relationship. Not to perfection, but progress. Not to tradition, but to transformation. To slow down, lean in, and trust that God is moving hearts on our behalf. As we pray and fast together, may our hearts grow more Heaven-focused, more people-centered, more mission-minded, and more devoted to what God is building among us.

These devotionals are designed to guide you day by day into a Christ-centered journey to start 2026.
