The Lord is my light and my salvation – so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though a mighty army surround me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident. Say this prayer aloud:
Father, it is by Your Word that I have placed faith and hope in You. You have given me salvation and abundant life. All glory is Yours. Teach me and remind me of Your Word, so that I will be able to be fully equipped to live for You and stand against the enemy. I speak a calm and peaceful mind. I receive Your strength and declare that You are my safe place. I will not be anxious about anything at all, for You have given me Your perfect peace! I rest in You. Thank You, for taking such good care of me and taking up all of my concerns and anxiety, so that I can be at peace and free, in Jesus’s Name, Amen!
