As humans, we don’t always welcome interruptions. They mess with our agendas, our carefully balanced schedules, and our expectations. But could some of these interruptions be God attempting to get our attention? What if allowing ourselves to be interrupted by the needs of others were exactly the kind of divine detours Jesus was calling us to take? The announcement of Jesus’ resurrection interrupted the course of history. It was unexpected and disruptive to his first followers, and it continues to interrupt our lives today. Join us as we explore how the good news of Jesus’ resurrection changes our own trajectories, expectations, and priorities.

🤔Sermon Reflection: While we often dislike interruptions, feeling they steal our time, life is full of them. We follow a God who embraces and works through such moments. Jesus consistently welcomed interruptions; His very life was a divine interruption to expectations. The account in John 20:1-10, starting with Mary finding the empty tomb, shows how unexpected events can lead to profound change, revealing the risen Lord and commissioning His followers. Just as someone likely interrupted your life to share the gospel, God uses ordinary people to interrupt others for His purposes. What is your interruption story, and who is God inviting you to interrupt with the good news? 🙏✝️😊
