🤔Sermon Reflection: We understand that there are many unique pathways that lead each person towards God. Often, a crucial moment or person, what we might call a divine appointment, interrupts our usual course and guides us closer to God. Just as Philip was led to the Ethiopian in Acts 8, this shows how God is still orchestrating these unexpected events in our lives to draw us to Himself. God desires followers, and sometimes things happen that we don't fully comprehend, leading us to wonder, why are we here or why are we worshiping today? How might God be working through unexpected moments in your own life? 🙏🌟🗺️

As humans, we don’t always welcome interruptions. They mess with our agendas, our carefully balanced schedules, and our expectations. But could some of these interruptions be God attempting to get our attention? What if allowing ourselves to be interrupted by the needs of others were exactly the kind of divine detours Jesus was calling us to take? The announcement of Jesus’ resurrection interrupted the course of history. It was unexpected and disruptive to his first followers, and it continues to interrupt our lives today. Join us as we explore how the good news of Jesus’ resurrection changes our own trajectories, expectations, and priorities.
