Scripture Readings: John 20:11-18, John 20:24-29, and John 21:15-19

Our class is "Resurrection Today: The Easter Stories of the Four Gospels and their Message for Today." Over the next five weeks, this class will explore the distinctive emphases of each of the four evangelists in telling the story of the resurrection of Jesus, why having multiple accounts of the Easter story serves to strengthen and deepen our understanding of Easter faith, and how faith and hope in God who raised the crucified Jesus bears on our everyday lives as Christians here and now.

The class will be taught by Rev. Dr. Daniel L. Migliore, who is an ordained Presbyterian minister and a retired professor of Christian Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary where he taught for more than forty years. Rev. Dr. Migliore has written several books, including Faith Seeking Understanding: An Introduction to Christian Theology, and The Power of God and the gods of Power.
