Today's message comes from Psalm 16, and is Part 2 of "In God We Trust". Where there is life, there is hope. Pastor Phil breaks down Psalm 16 into two sections: How to trust God in the present, and how to trust God in the future. We know Who holds the present, and we can trust in Who holds our future—Jesus Christ, the Author and finisher of our faith!

The Book of Psalms expresses worship—in fact Psalms translates as ‘a song’. Throughout its many pages, Psalms encourages its readers to praise God for who He is and what He has done.

Psalms serves as a songbook, prayer book, and a guide for understanding God's character and attributes, His faithfulness and help in time of troubles, the nature of faith, and a reminder of the absolute centrality of His Word. We also see innumerable verses that point to Jesus, the Messiah.
