The spiritual wickedness from the rulers of the darkness of this world, with its spirit that now works in unbelievers, propagates and continues the darkness. The children of this world celebrate and love their darkness. The darkness comes in different forms - philosophy, deceit, tradition, and many others. Essentially, anything that doesn't retain God, His righteousness, truth, and will is darkness and produces its unfruitful works.
