All of what the Bible says about God comes from and should be understood from the truth that God is love. The immensity of God's love is better understood in the context of all else the Bible says about God.
The message of faith for us is found in the Word of God, both written (Bible) and living (Jesus).
In order to know what, or who, we are, we need to understand ourselves, not from our perspective, but from God's.
In light of all we have learned about who God is, what does that say about us?
