Stepping Out in Faith

This Sunday we are concluding our four-week sermon series “ABIDE: A Study in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John”. As we wrap up discussing the important topic of God’s abiding love for us, this week we will hear from missionary Josh Inman. Josh will be exploring the topic of how we are called to be a part of God’s transformational love in the world. Come join us as we hear about the work that he, his family, and the team at Global Hope Network International are doing in Thailand and around the world!

ABIDE: Sharing the Good News

Our greatest act of love is to share Christ’s love with others, especially non-believers! This week we will be reminded that because God loves us, we are called to love one another. Part of loving one another is learning to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Join us on Sunday as we hear from Anna Bertels-Davey, the Executive Director of African Vision of Hope. She will be diving into Scripture and sharing testimonies of how she has seen the Good News transform lives around the world. Come prepared to learn to love to tell your story!

ABIDE: Transformed by the Light

This Sunday we continue with our series “Abide” based on 1 John. As Christ-followers, we are called to “walk in light” because God is light (1:5). John contrasting new and old, light and dark, love and hate. There are two concepts John is trying to emphasize to his readers by declaring that God is light. The first is the holiness of God. The second is revealing nature of God. Join us as we are challenged by the truth found in 1 John.

ABIDE: The Love of Christ

As Christ followers we are called to abide in the Lord; but what exactly does it mean to abide? This Sunday we begin a 4-week sermon series where we will be exploring the books of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John and we will learn about what it means to abide. Throughout these letters we are reminded of the themes of love, light, and life in Christ. Each week we will dive into these themes and be reminded that God’s love is for each of us, and God’s light transforms us all which should be showcased in our lives. Join us this Sunday as we look at the books of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John and start to explore what it means to abide in the Lord.
