Fire-Up 2024 - Cornerstone
Fire-Up 10:30 a.m. Service with guest Preacher DJ Dangerfield

DJ Dangerfield is scheduled to be the speaker for the Fire-Up weekend. On Sunday, he will be preaching for both the traditional and modern worship services. For the last 20 years, DJ has been the pastor at First Baptist Church in Chanute, Kansas. He has been a speaker for some of our regional Methodist summer camps, and has preached at Fire-Up in years past. The traditional service will be a regular format, with DJ as the guest preacher. The modern service will be a typical format as well, but will include student ministry groups from the area as we close the weekend. The whole church is invited to be a part of the Fire-Up closing service at either worship service. Fire-Up is a high school retreat weekend hosted by our church each February since 1997. The theme for 2024 is Cornerstone (1Peter 2:4-10)
