The Shema of Deuteronomy 6:4 and following is at the heart of Judaism. Every observant Jew is taught this passage as a child. But did you know that there are two Shemas in the Torah? Moses commanded in Deuteronomy 18:15-19 that Israel "shama" (hear and obey) the Prophet like him (Yeshua) that Elohim would raise up later. In holding on to Moses, they stumbled over Yeshua.
