O Magnum Mysterium

December 31, 2023 • TRC Teen Choir, TRC Adult Choir

O great mystery And wonderful sacrament, That animals should see the new-born Lord Lying in a manger! O blessed is the Virgin, whose womb Was worthy to bear Christ the Lord. Alleluia!

Savior of the Nations, Come

December 10, 2023 • TRC Men's Choir

Text: Martin Luther, 1524, tr. William M. Reynolds, 1860; alt. Savior of the nations, come; Virgin’s Son, make here Thy home! Marvel now, O heav’n and earth, That the Lord chose such a birth. Not by human flesh and blood, By the Spirit of our God Was the Word of God made flesh, Woman’s offspring, pure and fresh. From the Father’s throne He came And returneth to the same, Captive leading death and hell. High the song of triumph swell! Praise to God the Father sing, Praise to God the Son, our King, Praise to God the Spirit be Ever and eternally.

O Radix Jesse

December 3, 2023 • TRC Adult Choir, TRC Teen Choir

O root of Jesse, who stands as a sign among the peoples, Before whom kings will hold their tongues, To whom the nations pray: Come to deliver us; do not delay.
