**Update: This event has been postponed until further notice.** If your teen is battling depression, you may be feeling helpless and hopeless. Perhaps you’re slowly coming to the realization that you have no idea how to rescue your child from the darkness he or she is in. Christine Chappell knows from experience that there are no quick and easy solutions, but during this Parent Equip Night at Trinity Point Church, she provides biblical wisdom and encouragement to offer hope for the helpless caregiver. Members from the local community are welcome to attend this evening of Christ-centered equipping for the purposes of better caring for a depressed teen. The event will also feature a panel discussion with student ministry leaders to offer insights into the various ways depression is impacting the lives of the teens they care for. Attendees who register by April 12th will receive a copy of Christine's new mini-book, Help! My Teen is Depressed. Childcare for children five years old and under will be provided for those who need it—space for childcare is limited, so please be sure to RSVP by April 12th to secure your spot. Teens are welcome to attend, however the content is specifically targeted toward parents & caregivers. This event is hosted by TPC's Vantage Point student ministry. For questions, please contact student pastor John Creel at email@example.com or ministry assistant Twila Ellenburg at firstname.lastname@example.org.
