Get Off My Lawn!

Have you ever read one of Jesus’ parables and thought, “Wow! That doesn’t sound like the Jesus I know or read about elsewhere in Scripture?” This weekend is one of those parables. Understanding it more fully should affect the way we view the concept of stewardship in our lives and the ways that far too often, we tell God to “get off our lawn” when really, it’s not our lawn to begin with.
