Romans 10:9-13 | Clarify our understanding of the Gospel

December 25, 2024 • Marvin Williams • Romans 10:9–13

Today's daily devotional is Romans 10:9-13.

9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. 11 For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. 13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Response:

1. How can you apply this truth to your day today?

2. Who can you share this truth with today?

The Book of Acts is a look at how the early Church was activated! We believe God calls us to activate and deepen our faith in Him, as the early Church did. Join us on Sunday mornings as we journey through the book of Acts together.

There are 6 themes in the book of Acts that we are focusing our daily devotionals on:

1. Increasing our confidence in God’s sovereignty and providence. (Acts 17:26-27)

2. Pushing our understanding of and dependence on the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:4)

3. Clarifying our understanding of the gospel. (Acts 4:12)

4. Deepening our understanding of the Church. (Acts 2:42-47)

5. Preparing us for persecution and suffering. (Acts 5:41; Acts 12:4-5)

6. Inspiring us to GO into all kinds of environments with the good news. (Acts 1:8; 8:4)
