Being an authentic follower of the Lord Jesus Christ really does mean something! it’s not just a religious term, it’s not just your social media identifier, but if you're saved and in the faith it really means something to be a Christian.
Tonight I want to look back to the word of God in first John, these last few verses in the last chapter of first John is sort of a written contract between Christ Jesus and His children. This is the evidence that would presented in a court case, if somehow there was a breech in contract, and we wanted to point to the agreement and the language of the contract, then this is what we would use to prove we have a case.

James says "effectual, fervent" prayer. Behind this expression is the idea of energy, the mighty energy and power of the Holy Spirit of God. Praying with power in the spirit!
James is saying: "Great is the power and strength of a godly person's supplication. It accomplishes much in its outworking. It releases tremendous power.
