The ongoing response toward God of every Christian is that of perpetual surrender. Trust always encompasses a yielding of ourselves to the character and promises of God. Spiritual intimacy, holy power, inner-peace, godly confidence and relational wholeness all proceed from a heart that is postured in surrender toward God. Christians should take a white-flag with them wherever they go.

Perhaps in no other area of the faith are we challenged more than in this area of our generous giving. We must understand the joy which God attaches to generosity.
