In a world filled with darkness and disunity, the Church should stand out as a bright light. What sets us apart from a world holding a grudge is the forgiveness we offer others. Jesus knew this wouldn’t be easy for us but, through the power of the gospel, provides us a way. Forgiveness is remembering how Jesus forgave us and then offering that to others. Step Over the Offense

Being offended by someone or something is inevitable in our lives. Jesus even taught His disciples, “Offenses will come.” We will encounter stumbling blocks designed to trap us and lure us into sin. But the mission of the Church is far too critical and God’s plans for your future are too big for you to hold onto an offense! Jesus went to the cross for our offenses. Don't Take the Bait!

The current climate of our world is a perfect storm for division and disunity. At the very end of His earthly life, Jesus prayed for unity and oneness in the Church. He knew the mission of the Church was far too critical to get caught up in secondary issues. As we love each other, we show the love of Jesus to a world that desperately needs Him.
