Joseph allowed the trials of his life to shape his character and grow his personal relationship with God to new levels. By keeping his heart soft and being faithful with the work in front of him, Joseph emerged on the other side of his trials with the ability to forgive his brothers and say to them, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good.”
Put It All on the Line

Joseph continues to test his brothers so that he can know—have they changed? Twenty years after they cruelly sold him into slavery, what is in their hearts? Judah passes the test with flying colors. His eloquent speech offering to take the punishment for Benjamin is a picture of repentance and sacrificial love, a foreshadowing of the love Jesus has for us.
Still Standing

Joseph remained resilient in the face of temptation and difficult circumstances because his relationship with God was more important to him than anything else. Through every trial he faced, the Lord was with Joseph and He’s with you, too. When we live convinced that nothing can separate us from the love of God, He becomes our ‘why’, giving us strength to stand.
