We may be tempted to think we can set ourselves free from sin by doing everything just right, or that freedom means we can do anything we want, but both of these ideas are wrong. Instead, Christ is the one who sets us free, and He does it so that we can be free to love God and others.

Christ sets us free when we’re born into His family through faith. But that’s just the beginning! In this week’s message, Pastor Jim talks about how we can live free by walking in step with the Holy Spirit. When we walk by the Spirit, we avoid the trench of legalism on one side and the sewer of libertinism on the other. We are also free to grow the fruit of the Spirit instead of being enslaved by the deeds of the flesh.
