Jesus Walking on the Water

Everyone knows the story of Jesus walking on water. Taking place immediately after he fed the five thousand, Jesus withdrew from everyone to the mountains. From there, he prayed and watched over his disciples who had taken to the sea. The sea became rough and the winds raged against them. Jesus then walks out onto the stormy waters and calls out to them with the powerful phrase: "I Am. Do not be afraid." Pastor Jim Congdon brings this story into new light and assures us that Jesus Christ comes to us in the times when we feel the most deserted and alone.
The Wedding at Cana

We are going to party like it's 23AD! In the continuation of our Retold series, TBC Lead Pastor Connor Kraus looks at the story of Jesus turning water into wine at the wedding at Cana. The story told is that the wine at the wedding Jesus and his followers were invited to began to run out of wine. Mary, Jesus' mother, comes to him with a petition to do something about it. Jesus then proceeds to discreetly turn fresh water into wine for the wedding party. In a classic Retold fashion, Connor leads us through the significant themes and ideas that come from Jesus' first miracle.
