The Power Of Confession

Nehemiah 9

February 25, 2024

Pastor Tim Torres underscores the importance of confession, action, and transformation in our relationship with God. Drawing from the book of Nehemiah, he emphasizes the need for confession of both personal and communal sins, and encourages the congregation to bring their issues, brokenness, and need for healing to God. He calls for a communal response, urging the congregation to intercede for their families, communities, and the world, and to become a community of 'wounded healers'. The sermon concludes with an altar call, inviting those who haven't accepted Christ to do so, and a reminder of God's grace and the importance of expressing gratitude for His deeds.
