The liberation of the people of God in the book of Exodus contains some of the most memorable events of His redemption; the Ten Commandments, parting the Red Sea, the plagues of Egypt, Passover, the tabernacle, a burning bush. But what does this book have for us today? Throughout Exodus, we will see and experience the God who sets the captives free and liberates his people from slavery. God is not silent. He hears our cry for deliverance. We will see that Christ is our deliverer and has set us free from sin, Satan, and death. He sets us free not for the sake of freedom, but for the sake of worship. He sets us free to freely worship Him and all of this is done for His glory.”
