This is an urban immersive mission trip. We will be serving with a ministry called Breakthrough Urban Ministries. This trip will provide the opportunity for us to 1) live in the city – experiencing all the sights and sounds of Chicago; 2) learn about the city as we take a prayer tour to learn about the unique problems of the city and what God is doing to further His Kingdom through urban ministry; 3) become part of the solution as we offer our time, energy, and sweat serving hands-on with Breakthrough to support God’s people and reach out to the lost and the least, and 4) cause you to develop Christ-centered friendships and grow in your relationship with Jesus.
