In a culture of subjectivity where we say to one another, "you do you, and I'll do me," how do we define what is good?
What are the characteristics of someone who is good?
The Hebrew scriptures of the Bible describe God as tov, which means good. Scripture says: "You, Adonai, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you. Hear my prayer, Lord; listen to my cry for lovingkindness. When I am in distress, I call to you, because you answer me."
In today's meditation, we will sit with the goodness of God and give our mind, body, and spirit an opportunity to receive God's goodness.
