Hope was lost on Friday and resurrected on Sunday.

Destroy this temple and in 3 days I will raise it up.

As Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the Son of Man be lifted up.

Jonah gives us a picture of the resurrection of Jesus and the mercy of God.
