The Danger of False Religion (Mark 12:41-44)

Wholehearted and sincere devotion to a false religion does nothing to improve our situation; the consequence remains total loss.

The long ending of Mark is a heavily disputed passage. While it may not be original to Mark, it is still is useful with New Testament doctrine.

It is natural to expect the way of God to be all success & victory. But God’s redeeming ways are often surprising.

Jesus who was crucified has risen, and that changes everything!
