King Ahaz the Lily-Livered Part 3

Isaiah 7

April 25, 2024 • Pastor Ken Brown • Isaiah 7

God gives each of us an opportunity to receive the gift of grace. We can’t earn it, we don’t deserve it, but we are freely given the opportunity to receive it. King Ahaz rejected God’s grace and that led to the destruction of a nation. He worshiped other gods built temples against Him, and defied His instructions. In today’s message, Pastor Ken is going to encourage you to live with God and not against Him. God wants to give you the gift of grace, all you have to do is be willing to accept Jesus as the Lord of your life.

The Grace of God Part 3

May 17, 2024 • Pastor Ken Brown • Isaiah 10:20–34

Today, Pastor Ken teaches us that God has not abandoned the nation of Israel. Just as He protected Israel in the Old Testament and fulfilled His promise to make Israel a nation again after 2,000 years, He will also protect and redeem His people in the end times. At the end of the Great Tribulation, Israel will be surrounded by the armies of the Antichrist, but God will fight for Israel and destroy their enemies. This should give you hope in God. Just as God is faithful to Israel, He will be faithful to you also.

The Grace of God Part 2

May 16, 2024 • Pastor Ken Brown • Isaiah 10:20–34

It’s so hard to fully place our trust in God instead of the things of this world, isn’t it? With our jobs, finances, and relationships, we can at least see them, feel them, and to some extent, control them. But God is invisible, intangible, and cannot be controlled. In today’s message, Pastor Ken teaches that God is the only one you should place your trust in. Everything and everyone else in this world will fail you at some point. God is always faithful and all-powerful. He will never fail you, forget about you, or disappoint you.

The Grace of God Part 1

Have you ever found yourself in a situation with a group of non-Christians that made you compromise on your values? You knew doing something went against God’s commands, but you felt peer pressured to give in. That’s why the Bible tells us not to be unequally yoked with non-believers. Pastor Ken teaches that this applies not only to marriage but to any area in your life that requires strong commitments to other people. God doesn’t want you to be in situations that will lead you to compromise your integrity.
