Not Distracted

Jesus' Purpose

December 12, 2018

Life is so busy that we don’t even need to sin to find ourselves outside of the will of God for our lives. All we have to do is be distracted from what we are truly made to do. When this happens, we miss our purpose, not because we are doing something wrong, rather, we may be doing many things right. However, they’re just not the things God purposed for us to do.

Jesus was faced by many great things he could do. He even had many people with needs that begged him not to leave them, but he knew that God had called him to share the gospel far and wide. So rather than get distracted by the many good things he could be doing, he stayed focused on his God-given mission.
