Give thanks to God

November 21, 2019

Jesus was born in the flesh to die for us to set us free from the bondage of our sin. In other words, Jesus died so that we don’t have to. That deserves such praise and worship from us, but he doesn’t just stop there. He continues to bless us throughout our lives and gives us a rich and satisfying life. What can you and your family thank God for this thanksgiving season?

This week spend time reading the Word of God (found in our read plan portion of the app) and praying about what putting others needs before your own looks like in your life.

More from Born to Die

Living on a Mission

December 26, 2019

Jesus was born on a mission. His mission was to die for the sins of his children (that is you and I) and be raised from the dead so that His children could have everlasting life. It is incredible that even though his children rejected Him and wanted nothing to do with Him, God would give up his life to pay for the lives of those who rejected him. That kind of love deserves a special kind of love in return. Throughout this week’s reading, we have had the opportunity to learn about how we should live our life on a mission to worship the one who lived his life on a mission to pay for our sins. ___________________________________ This week spend time reading the Word of God (found in our read plan portion of the app) and praying about what putting others needs before your own looks like in your life. Prophecies Fulfilled

December 19, 2019

Even though we know that Jesus was born in the flesh to die for us to set us free from the bondage of our sin. Today we don’t realize how wild of an idea that was. It is something we have been born and raised to believe. Imagine you were a Jew alive at the time of the Jesus being born, where you had been taught that you were awaiting the King of Kings to be born. This week we look at some of the prophecies of the Old Testament that the New Testament Jews were expecting and then head into Christmas day looking at how the King of Kings fulfilled those prophecies by being BORN TO DIE for our sins. Go! Share Hope

December 12, 2019

Jesus was born in the flesh to die for us to set us free from the bondage of our sin. In other words, Jesus died so that we don’t have to. Then, after dying for our sins, he rose from the dead and gave us the job to GO! share this freedom with everyone! But the question is, will you be a true disciple or will you be ashamed of the power of the gospel for freedom from sin and death? This week spend time reading the Word of God (found in our read plan portion of the app) and praying about what putting others needs before your own looks like in your life.
