When we are hurt or betrayed our fleshly desire is to seek revenge. However, the Bible tells us we should never do so. How can we live with the wrongs done to us if we cannot retaliate? Instead of taking our own revenge, why should we trust God to judge on our behalf? As we follow Biblical instructions for when we are wronged we find that instead of being overcome by evil, we can instead overcome evil with good. Join us for the closing session of our study: A Living Sacrifice. Scriptures Used: Romans 12:19 James 4:12 Matthew 18:21-35 1 Peter 2:20-21 Psalm 37:3 Romans 12:20-21 2 Corinthians 9:8

We've often heard the adage, "an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth." It is our natural inclination to repay evil with evil. However, the Bible stands in direct opposition to this fleshly desire when it tells us never to repay evil for evil. Instead, we are to do right and strive to be at peace with all, even those who wound us. Grab a Bible and join us for session 12 of our study: A Living Sacrifice. Verses Used: Romans 12:17-18 Ephesians 4:31-32 Micah 6:8 Psalm 34:14 Colossians 3:15 1 Samuel 25 Proverbs 17:14
