God With Us

Reminders of Jesus’ birth are everywhere this time of year — in Christmas carols, nativities, movies, and family traditions. But how many of us woke up today with the confidence that God is with us? Jesus is Immanuel, which means, God with us. Through Jesus, God came and walked among creation. Jesus made a way to restore our relationship with God and gave us His Spirit, so we’re never without Him. Because God is with us, we can never be separated from His love. Because God is with us, we can fully accomplish His will. And because God is with us, we can love more fully, give more generously, and live more confidently

Good news travels fast. The message of Jesus’ birth was given to those who would receive it and share it with others. The importance of the message hasn’t changed, just the way it is delivered. A message of good news that was once trusted only to angels to share now rests on everyone who has accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
