we continue our series on Kingdom Stewardship. We see from Scripture that
when the people of God came together with a vision for His house, the resources
poured in, and His purposes were established. Stewardship isn’t just about giving; it’s
about partnering with God’s work on Earth.
Illustration: Think of a beautiful church building with broken windows, cracked walls,
and a leaking roof. It may have stood tall once, but without ongoing care and
stewardship, even the grandest structures deteriorate. In the same way, our spiritual
lives and responsibilities can weaken without proper attention. Consider how King
Joash used the resources of Israel to repair the temple breaches (2 Kings 12:4-15; 2
Chronicles 24:4-10; Ezra 3:7).
