Bloom | Part 3

Seasons • November 12, 2019 • Pastor Donna Lasit

1. There is something beautiful in every season. (God doesn’t waste anything.) Ecc. 3:11 … and I know God has made everything beautiful for its time. 2. Embrace the season you are in. (You can’t control it anyways.) Phil 4:11… “for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.” 3. Use this season to prepare for the next season. (What are you planting for next season?) Galatians 6:7 says, “Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.” 4. Trust that Gods timing is perfect. (He knows what you need in each season.) Ecc. 3:10 - 11 I have seen the kinds of tasks God has given each of us to do to keep one busy, 11 and I know God has made everything beautiful for its time. Isaiah 40:31 (VOICE) But those who trust in the Eternal One will regain their strength. They will soar on wings as eagles. They will run—never winded, never weary. They will walk—never tired, never faint. 5. Be committed to stay GREEN inside no matter what season you are in. (Even dormant trees are green on the inside.) Psalms 92:13-15 Those who are devoted to God will flourish like budding date-palm trees; they will grow strong and tall like cedars in Lebanon. Those planted in the house of the Eternal will thrive in the courts of our God. They will bear fruit into old age; even in winter, they will be green and full of sap. To display that the Eternal is righteous. He is my rock, and there is no shadow of evil in Him
