Easter Egg Hunt Volunteer Sign Up - 2025

April 19, 2025
8:00am - 12:00pm

The Passage Church's annual easter egg hunt is one of the biggest events of the year, and allows us to reach a multitude of individuals in the community and invite them to our church. There are many different areas where you can get plugged into the event and serve. You can choose to serve the first shift (10 to 11) or thee second (11 to 12); however, if you join the egg team you must serve for the whole event. A team leader will be in charge of each area, and once you sign up, you will be connected with them. Below are short descriptions of each area, but if you have questions about them please feel free to email lilly@thepassagechurch.com. Please use the registration to sign up to serve. If you sign up virtually, you do not need to sign up in person, and vice versa.

Setup

From 8:45 am to 9:45 am, you and a team of volunteers will get everything organized, plugged in, and ready to go. It may require heavy lifting, so eat your veggies before you come. Eight to ten people needed.

Egg Team

The egg team will work together to help spread eggs out for each egg hunt per age group. If you sign up for the egg team, you must volunteer for the whole event. A schedule will be provided soon for what times eggs will need to be spread. Ten to twelve people needed.

Parking

A team of individuals will work together to help individuals park at the event, to ensure safe and effective parking for our guests. Three to four people needed per shift.

Information

You and four to five other individuals will be located at a table to welcome everyone and provide information about the Passage Church, our easter services the next day, and any questions that people may have. Information about the church and easter services will be available in the form of handouts to share with guests. Four to five people needed per shift.

Face Painting

Calling all artists! You and a team will paint children's faces during the whole event. Stencils, different colors, and everything needed will be provided. Work together as a team to make sure everyone is helped, and that people are clear on where to go. Five to six people needed per shift.

Inflatables

You and a partner will be assigned to one of the inflatables to help kids and families be safe. Just make sure everyone takes off their shoes, don't let too many people on at a time, and make sure a line is formed that doesn't affect the other areas of the egg hunt. Eight to ten people needed per shift.

Water

You and a team will help pass out small water bottles from your station. Make sure a line is formed that does not affect other stations around you, and that water is handed out effectively. Three to four people needed per shift.

Popcorn

You and a partner will serve guests popcorn from a commercial automatic popcorn popper. You'll be very popular! Four to five people needed per shift.

Tear Down

Help the team wrap everything up at 12:00 pm. Pack the trucks, grab the trash, roll the cables, etc. This usually doesn't take very long with lots of people's help! Eight to ten people needed per shift.
